Borek Recipe

Ingredients:

90g Parsley

150g grated chedder

2 eggs

1 egg white

2 packs Shortcrust Pastry (375g each)

Black cracked pepper & Salt

Everything but the bun

Method:

  1. Finely chop the parsley, add in the grated cheese, crack in two eggs, season with the cracked black pepper and salt and mix well with a fork.
  2. Unroll the pastry line up the filling and fold over the pastry, cut into parcels and use a fork to close all the corners of the parcels.
  3. Line a baking tray with grease proof paper and place the borek parcels on the tray, brush with egg white and sprinkle a little Everything but the bun
  4. Bake until golden brown, allow to rest for just a few minutes and serve
