How pretty are our flower letterbox lollypops, the easiest recipe but you do need the right tools, so lets crack on with the ingredients and tools you will require:
Ingredients:
2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cups of corn syrup
3/4 cups water
1 GP spices flower letterbox https://www.gpspices.co.uk/product-page/flower-letterbox-edible-flower
Rose Water for flavouring
1 Food Thermometer
1 lollypop mould
Method
- In a saucepan place the sugar, corn syrup and add the water. On a medium high heat allow the sugar to dissolve.
- Once the granules of sugar have dissolved place on a high heat and using a food or candy thermometer allow the sugar to hit exactly 300F you must hit this exact temperature, no more and no less.
- Once the optimum temperature has been hit add in one teaspoon of rose water.
- In the lollypop moulds place the edible flowers and pour over the candy mix
- Allow to completely cool and decorate as you like, we used pretty ribbons.
