Arabic Sandwich

Looking for a 30 minute midweek easy meal, this is definitely a great option for any busy family and it really taste delicious.


This recipe can be made by anyone, my eight year old managed to make these with no trouble and so its a fantastic meal to get little ones involved in.

Ingredients


500g Mince beef or lamb

3 onions

5 cloves of garlic

1 bunch of Parsley

1 Tsp Cracked black pepper

1 Tsp Turkish chilli flakes / Pul Biber / Aleppo Flakes https://www.gpspices.co.uk/product-page/aleppo-pepper-pul-biber

1 Tbsp Salt

8 Tortilla Wraps


Method


Pre heat oven at 180 degrees


1. In a blender blitz the parsley, garlic and onion.


2. To the lamb or mince beef add your salt and Hararat (10 spice mix) cracked black pepper, Turkish chilli flakes (Pul bieber) and tomato puree.


3. Top with the blitz mixture and (wearing a glove using your hands) mix thoroughly


4. Take each tortilla wraps and fold in half, apply a thin layer of the mince meat mixture on one side of the tortilla and press it down then cut each wrap in half.


5. On each outer side of the tortilla wrap brush with olive oil and place on a baking tray.


6. Bake in the oven for around 20 minutes or until golden brown.
