Home made Lollypops

How pretty are our flower letterbox lollypops, the easiest recipe but you do need the right tools, so lets crack on with the ingredients and tools you will require:

Ingredients:


2 cups granulated sugar

3/4 cups of corn syrup

3/4 cups water

Rose Water for flavouring


1 Food Thermometer

1 lollypop mould


Method

  1. In a saucepan place the sugar, corn syrup and add the water. On a medium high heat allow the sugar to dissolve.

  2. Once the granules of sugar have dissolved place on a high heat and using a food or candy thermometer allow the sugar to hit exactly 300F you must hit this exact temperature, no more and no less.

  3. Once the optimum temperature has been hit add in one teaspoon of rose water.

  4. In the lollypop moulds place the edible flowers and pour over the candy mix

  5. Allow to completely cool and decorate as you like, we used pretty ribbons.
